Run, don't walk, to book Magdy as your photographer!!! I worked with Magdy to plan a surprise proposal for my partner on Kauai, and she absolutely slayed it. As I was coming from the mainland without any familiarity of the island, she helped me pick the perfect place, sight unseen. (She even helped me pick a backup place.) She went out to get beautiful flowers and setup the proposal site, rambling up and down a steep path and lava rocks. When the big moment came, she was truly like a fly on the wall. My partner burst into tears when she saw the album for the first time – Magdy captured this enormous moment in our lives in such a beautiful, artistic way. Getting to work with Magdy was a dream come true! I literally could not contain my excitement when given the opportunity to be part of her magic; I have been a big fan of her timelessly captivating photos for sometime. There is something about the way her style immerses you into the moment she captures. She was super flexible, understanding, and helpful in getting the shoot together. When i got to the shoot she was very welcoming and immediately made me feel like i was in the company of a friend. She encouraged me to utilize areas of myself that I normally try to conceal in my modeling which left me feeling empowered in my uniqueness. Her directions ,as well as, progressing vision was communicated clearly and in a manner that felt collaborative. She made sure to show me what she was getting as we went which was helpful for me as it made her pose adjustments/directions easier to apply. I went home feeling like i had an amazing time, but also like i got a chance to connect with myself in a way my modeling hadn’t made me feel before. When i got the photos i was in love. There wasn’t a single one where i didnʻt like the whole photo. She gave me so much variety scenically and style wise. I cannot wait to shoot with her again. Magdy is truly magical✨
